Minutes of the 744th Regular Club meeting of Rotary Club of Calcutta South City held at Metropole, 174, Sarat Bose Road, Kolkata-29 on 13th October, 2009 at 6.30 P.M.
President, Rtn Kuldip Singh Virdi:
# called the 744 regular club meeting to order.
# National Anthem was sung by all members led by Rtn Rajesh Jaiswal.
# exchanged Shubha Bijoya and Diwali Greetings with all members, guests and their families.
# announced that due to load shedding at the press, today’s Runner could not be printed in time. This is regretted, hence minutes of the regular club meeting for dt 6-10-09 could not be confirmed.
# invited members to give their opinion for holding this year Diwali and Bijoya Samilini for our club.
# after detailed discussions, it was decided that it will be celebrated on 20th October, 2009 at Ballygunje Officer’s Recreational Club (BORC) at 7 P.M. onwards after holing a short weekly meeting.
# our PP and DG Rtn Utpal Majumder alongwith other District dignitaries will be invited to attend and initiate the incoming District Conference event for which our club is Host.
# CP Rtn Sanjit,. PP Rtn Utpal, President Rtn Kuldip, Rtn Trpti and other members offered to contribute for some of the events, which was highly appreciated.

How To Catch a Lion !!
Ø Newton's Method:
Let, the lion catch you. For every action there is equal and opposite reaction.
Implies you caught lion.
Ø Einstein Method:
Run in the direction opposite to that of the lion. Due to higher relative velocity, the lion will also run faster and will get tired soon. Now you can trap it easily.

Ø Indian Police Method:
Catch any animal and interrogate it & torture it to accept that its a lion.
Ø Karan Johar Method (director):
Send a lioness into the forest. Our lion and lioness fall in love with each other. Send another lioness in to the forest, followed by another lion. First lion loves the first lioness and the second lion loves the 2nd lioness. But 2nd lioness loves both lions. Now send another lioness (third) into the forest. You don't understand right... ok....read it after 15 yrs, and then also you won’t!
Ø Govinda method:
Continuously dance before the lion for 5 or 6 days.
Ø Menaka Gandhi method:
Save the lion from a danger and feed him with some vegetables continuously.
